Every fire dept in our county is volunteer. What a great idea. I am a 911 dispatcher and when we have bad storms, wind damage, rain damage, etc, they are johnny on the spot to help. It makes my job alot easier. Even 4out of 5 ambulances and EMT crews are volunteer. I wrote a long letter to editor one year for county newspaper thanking all our volunteers and letting people know about all the time and expense they are out helping others and away from their own families while the majority of them hold down jobs at same time. Can't say enough about them. Bet your quilt will bring in alot of money for them because it is absolutely gorgeous......GREAT JOB!!!!!
