Such a beautiful piece of art.

It is truly a beautiful quilt. I am overwhelmed just looking at it. I would need three life times to make it.

OMG. Makes me want to give up quilting at all and just spend my time looking at other quilts. Positively stunning.

Can you explain a bit more detail about the binding? What was it? Lace? Hand crocheted? I can't make it out.

I can only "guess" that it is a lace like trim treatment, but heavy stuff like you would find on heavy drapery. She used a few other trims just the inside of the binding, and around one or two of the borders.

I'm only guessing mind you as there was no "write up" on any of the quilts. Perhaps we'll find out in the next issue of the AQS magazine.

So you think she just went into Joann's and bought a few yards of trim and used a coupon?

JK. ;-)

Wouldn't it be funny if she had actually done that? What a beautiful quilt but I doubt that I will ever (or would want to!) do one even remotely like it.
