Very pretty! Since it is spring, will there be a nest close by? :-)

popover 05-06-2017 12:23 PM

Pretty neat. Those little guys join me for a cuppa all spring.

Lilrain 05-06-2017 12:31 PM

beautiful. We have had too much rain here, also, but no cardinals.

I'm liking your cardinals much better than the pair that is pecking on my dining room windows for 5 days! That pair seem to think that the house plants that are near the windows are great nesting spots and won't give it up. We've covered the plants, put a plastic snake on the covering, now I have tea towels taped over the lower part of the window and the plastic snake is on the deck chair outside the windows. I hope they give up and build a nest somewhere before they need it for eggs!

coopah 05-07-2017 04:48 AM

Truly beautiful. Will turn it into a wall-hanging or...? I hope you "show it off." It's wonderful work.

Wanabee Quiltin 05-07-2017 04:55 AM

This is beautiful. We are fortunate to own 2 acres of woods right in the city. When we viewed the property, 3 male cardinals swooped and swooped by us as we walked the yard. Now we have about 12-15 male cardinals and their mates at our bird feeder constantly. I really like your embroidery work.

mamajack3 05-07-2017 05:15 AM

We don't have cardinals in the Rio Grande Valley in New Mexico. Thanks for sharing your beautiful cardinals. They remind me of my growing up days in the Midwest.

Claire123 05-07-2017 04:20 PM
