That is so very beautiful.

Heavily steam the binding and it should help a little. But the quilt is wonderful. I'm glad you showed it.

I'll never get it back from her, LOL! But I think I know what I did wrong. I had taken my Babylock out of the box and went a little nuts. I didn't use any stabilizer since the lettering was just part of the decorative stitching, not embroidery to use with a hoop. Next time ... stabilizer!

Anyway, here is a quilt that I made for my niece from paisley fabric samples I found at an estate sale. It is predominantly brown, but for some reason the other colors pop in the photos.
The binding is a ripply mess. I had just gotten my first embroidery machine and went a little nuts with all sorts of random messages along the edges. I wanted to re-do it, but she loved it and grabbed it away!
She is very ill with a rare form of leukemia and spends several nights each week in a hyperbaric chamber. This was meant as a comfort quilt, but the silly woman hung it over her fireplace!

I wish that I was as undisciplined as you. Your work is fabulous. The colors are as beautiful as the paisley fabric. I love the job that you did. Thank you for sharing . You are an inspiration to me.

Beautiful, beautiful. She's getting her comfort in seeing it, rather than feeling it.

You are a very kind soul and the love you put into this quilt will bolster her courage and add comfort to her.

Very pretty and warm feeling look that this quilt has.
I think you did a very nice job putting it all together.
