Palm tree quilt
 

My daughter wanted a wall hanging to remind her of her happy place. I'm not an "art" quilter by any means! So this was a stretch for me. I used the facing technique for binding. Interesting method. It's not straight, but it will suffice!

Yes, I just looked at paintings of palm trees then just free hand drew them. But I am not an artist. So they are a little rough! Lol

I think your palm tree wall hanging is gorgeous. I really like the colors and style you used. I also like the facing binding effect. I think you have found a new niche-art quilting. Perfect for this project. I am amazed that more quilters don't use it. It is easy to do and very effective.
