"Williamsburg Tea" is my name for this little quilt I made using civil war print fabrics. It's about 20" square. I used a varigated thread on the apples in the border.

Quaint little wall hanging. I've not yet attempted PP, but hope to in the near future. Maybe after the holidays I'll start researching and take the plunge. Really pretty and precise work. Love your colors. Thanks for sharing.

I used a free download! It is called " Grandma's Tea Party Wallhanging" by Beth Maddocks for Hoffman Fabrics. I takes a bit of time, but not hard to do.

No, I don't. I looked at the printout I have and there is no link. And I have no bookmark, either. I guess you could find it by googling. I just printed it off in the last 4 or 5 months. Good Luck!

I may steal this pattern because I have been looking for something for my SIL and she is into tea and teapots.

Veronica 11-11-2011 07:13 AM

I love your quilt.
Tea and civil war fabrics, two of my favorite things.
Beautiful!

Wonderful quilt! My small quilt group made one similar to this to give to a member who was moving away. We needed to find a way to sign our blocks so we made little tea bag "tags" and attached them to look like they were hanging out of each tea cup. We each signed the one on the tea cup block that we made. It turned out so cute. The receiver just loved it!

Nanaof4 11-11-2011 07:53 AM

I love your mini. The fabric is just beautiful, and a terrific choice.

Joan 11-11-2011 07:58 AM

There is nothing that compares to quilts that are paper pieced! It is exquisite and your quilting is so effective!

(Send it to me if you get tired of it.......my "to do" list is getting long and your quilt is on it!)

Lady Jane 11-11-2011 07:58 AM

That is darling.
