Did you just make up a pattern or did you use a commercial one? I already have some cloth bags but need to make some more. Thank you

I made myself some shopping bags from some khaki pants fabric I knew I would never use. Works really well, but I also forget to put them back in the car after I use them. I had the problem, tho", that when I went to self-checkout and started filling my bags, the computer kept telling me there was a foreign object in the bagging area. The attendant kept coming over and pushing buttons so I could continue. What a PAIN!!! Hope they have solved that issue by now...

Does anyone know what to use to make them insulated? I'd like a bag that kept cold items cold in case I have to make another stop before going home. I know Insulbrite protects against heat but is there something for cold? Thanks for your help.I thought I'd ask on this thread because you all seem to use or make shopping bags.

Great bag!!
Just make sure to remember that if you carry meats from the grocery store in it that you wash it regularly!!!! They have found tons of bacteria in all these reusable bags because of meats and milks in those things. |
