You know, if you were to turn every other block (I think) maybe it would look like a bowtie quilt. Pretty colors.

my 1st attempt was a tile pattern & didn't form a square block....and i too stopped at the baby quilt size becaus it was slow for me. no need to push, if you don't have a deadline. just go with whatever makes you happy. that'swhy we quilt...for the joy of it.

Looks good to me, and after watching the tutorial, I think I will skip this and stick to my applique..... You did a great job, and I am sure you will get faster as you do more... you know "practice, practice". It is very pretty and will look great as a baby quilt. Choosing colors is a chore for me and you did a great job!

Oh CJ that is beautiful. The colors really play nice with each other.I can't wait until I can do work like that. I also can't wait to see the fimished project.

I sure wish I could get a 10 minute block done in 10 minutes! I wonder who actually can :roll: .
