Mmmmmmm! Doesn't that just look like fun. I just read your disclaimer, but it still looks pretty complicated to me. Sign me "chicken". Sure made a very interesting and pretty quilt.

Really?!?! That is good news to me. I much prefer peicing over applique and am not afraid of curves. Currently working on an adaptatin of NYB and that has two double curved pieces in it. I bet I can use the template that I have to piece it then as it does have the seam allowance already added for turning under. I would much rather just cut and piece than prep all those applique pieces - all that pressing under and gluing down takes a really long time. The pattern is as you describe, only 4 units and also gives instructions of squaring up the block after it is put together.

I will give it a shot on a sample block. I may just get this thing done sooner then I thought. Thanks so much for your feedback on it.
