Thank you all so much! I am just starting on the Farmers Wife Quilt. I'm at block 9 so far, so good. It is fun getting to do a new block each time. Sewing gives me a chance to let the weeds in my garden catch a break.

about the pictures of the quilts, the some were quilt as you go--string as taught by ditter. She is marvelous! some were tied, some were quilt as you go in other ways. The last one posted was actually done by my daughter and myself as a gift to #1 daughter. She hand dyed all the fabric and as a suprise to her, we did rose of sharon blocks. all blocks were needle turn applique. Much fun!!! I have many more to send along on a while. It was truly a busy winter.
