Patchwork of the Crosses
2 Attachment(s)
Today I'm working on my mini Patchwork of the Crosses. Made with 90 degree 1/2 inch Hexagon collection from Inklingo. Inklingo allows me to hand piece..much easier than EPP. The first photo is a single block. The second is 4 blocks put together. I'm using up my scraps of fabric and this little project will be using some bits of red I had in my scrap stash for ages. I've enough to make 12 additional blocks that I will piece and join all together. It will end up being a small table topper.

Beautiful! I just purchased the 1" Inklingo POTC. I haven't printed any yet - I'm glad to see your work. It encourages me ;-) The Inklingo video makes it look so easy! I hate EPP so I'm hoping this is a good alternative!
How pretty and dainty! It's going to be so pretty!
Pretty works!
this is wonderful. i was unfamiliar w this pattern name or it's history. so, recently, i spent many blissfull hours w image and site searches. i finally decided i want to do one ..in miniature. very glad to see your 1/2" patches look so good. this would be a great two color quilt in any two color combination.
This is going to be an heirloom! Its stunning.
What a sweet little piece. Lovely work.
I love your Patches of Crosses. I have a Inklingo book and CD but have not even opened it as yet. Looks like some nice things are in store for me when I do. Thanks for sharing and reminding me of my Inklingo.
Your work is just beautiful. Pat |
Really stunning. LQS was going to offer this class but then they suddenly closed.
I still hesitate about inklingo.......having to run thru printer, then cut out precisely.......I like built in control of the shape of EPP....i.e., fabric itself need not be perfectly cut...paper piece keeps one " in line". That being said today, doesn't mean tomorrow, I will try and maybe like better....
Nice work. Love your colors.
That's a beauty!!
