I made this top as one of the donation quilts. My second son is Army/National guard and at Easter he was over. When he saw this quilt top his face lit up so I promised he can have this one. I have several more on the way for donation. I had already given my son an "Army" quilt but it did not have the patriotic colors. He really likes the theme and color scheme. The pattern is free online.
http://www.qovf.org//ufiles/files_ph...IN%20QUILT.pdf I will load a picture of the final quilt top too later. The center is a pillow panel that Walmart used to cary. any 16 inch square will work. The pattern also has ideas on how to make a log cabin star incase you have no center panel. this is the one I made for him earlier this year. here is the completed top. sorry about the colors I had the camera on the wrong setting. |
