Cool topper! God job.
|
Thats very pretty
|
Just perfect! I love your flag fabric! I'll bet they loved it. What size is it?
|
sew cool!
|
The topper is 20" diameter, that's was what I had to go with. However, now that I understand more of the concepts of sizing, I'm sure I could make it smaller if I wanted.
I hear a lot of compliments...what about some criticism. I know my work is new, and I'd really like to hear what could have made it better. I've only made oval placemats and a few toppers. If you do a search for my name, you'll see the other ones I made in June titled More Wedding Gifts. Any ideas? I'm open to all kinds of criticism (very open minded) |
red, white and blue...always looks good! :D
|
The only thing that I see wrong
with it is, that it isn't coming to my HOUSE!! It's beautiful!! :D :D :D :D :D :D |
I don't have any criticism on your table topper. It is beautiful.
Suggestion: if you want to get more creative you could try "fussy" cutting for your center. But it is beautiful just as it is. I have a round table just the right size for it :D |

I decided I didn't like the white threads going through the center block.
I tried, using my computer program, to add a center piece of the flag material appliqued in the center of the blue block, but it didn't look right. Even tried a white fabric, but it didn't look right either. So....I removed the white threads, starting at the very center. Pulled the top threads to the bottom, knotted them together, and weaved them in between the 2 layers to hide them. Then sewed the center block in black thread instead. I like it much better. |
