Every seam was ironed open and then the entire quilt was starched. It laid flat as a pancake. There are two layers of batting, Warm and Natural and a thin poly. Beautiful to work with. If only all the quilts came in like this :) thanks for the opportunity to quilt this for you!!!

This is beautiful! Love your feathers. Do you freehand them and if so, do you go up one side and down the other? Just curious, so many different paths to take when doing feathers. Thank you in advance. Whoever pieced this did a fantabulous job!!

The quilt and quilting are both wonderful. Just wondering if there was a reason the seams were pressed open?
