Your color choices are spot on. It is gorgeous and looks very much like the real thing.
Excellent!
Thank you. I followed Linda's lead on the colors. I didn't want to deviate too much the first time trying one of her patterns.
It is very pretty.
Just beautiful! It really pops on the dark background.
WOW !! Those are tiny pieces. Love seeing what you are working on Debra. I would have to attach a magnifying glass to my already thick lenses to see those lines !! :)
That turned out beautiful, you did an awesome job
BrendaK - I have been following your pp's cards, etc. and am so in "like!" Keep up the good work!/lissa

Could you please provide us with a link?? Thank you! |
If you sign up for Linda's monthly newsletter, she usually shares a free pattern or sometimes lesson type blocks and paper piecing tips with each mailing.

I'm not sure what to do with it. I sort of made the block with a particular person in mind. She is in her mid eighties and loves orchids. I'm trying to think of something useful for her. It may end up on a grocery bag. I really didn't think very far ahead. lol, I'm accruing quite a collection of "not thinking, just doing" blocks ;-)
I think that is fantastic.
Looks challenging.
Great job, it sure looks like a phalenopsis! I wish I could smell that beauty.
That's amazing. You did a wonderful job. Very pretty.
Wonderful Block!
I have completed a few of her blocks and I am starting in on her 2012 freebies. I did purchase all the monthly packets for these blocks and her fabrics are fantastic……one could never find the choices she has sent in the little mini kits.
I did her puppy and made her kitten into a pillow…one is prettier that the next of her patterns. |
Beautiful.........
Yowzaaa!!! That is pretty. And looks difficult.
Wow that is beautiful. That reminded me that I no longer get her newsletters. I guess I will have to resubscribe. I love paper piecing.
I came across her patterns looking for a crab block. Unfortunately, I still don't feel like I can piece that one yet ;-)
I'm impressed that you did the kitten and puppy. |
