I loved seeing what you ladies have put together...just wonderful. Could someone explain to me how this works? I've never participated in a swap before.

It's so close that I'm almost at the post office! Let me make sure I have the next round dimensions correct:

Borders will start at 3” for the first round and 1” will be added for each successive round. If we have enough people we will have 6 rounds for each group.
Center
Round 1- 3”
Round 2-5”
Round 3-6”
Round 4-7”
Round 5-8”

Any changes?

I just realized one of my partners lives in the town I once lived in. Looked up the addresses and it is less then a mile apart. What a small world.

I'm naughty and broke the rules:

1st: I mailed my center today. I know that on Thurs Oct 15 I have a terrible heavy schedule and decided I'll get 'er done since I had about 5 minutes to spare this afternoon.

2nd: I changed my name. I'm now SaraSewing because of possible privacy issues. I'm same the address, same me, just a different sign in name. Please don't get me confused if you look up saravincent.

Boy, that first round will be too easy. I won't have much to add.

And I like your new name. But, I already placed saravincent on my label.. so that is the way you will see it when it comes time for you to get my center.

Ninnie, for true inspiration you have to be looking at the ears (maybe get a second pair, two more if you want to wear them as well) and put them on DH and mortimer, I am sure that will do the trick. ummm, don't forget to take pictures :mrgreen:

I'm really getting excited about getting Sara's center! I only wish my border was wider because I have the perfect fabric to match it but the flowers are too big for 3". I'll go back to the drawing board!!
