Here are some of me and my niece working on a pillow for her. I was teaching her about how to do it.

Great sense of color - what was that thing she was using to extend ruler? Got to think of safety first!

You are right Safety first:) I loved those colors too. I had some fabric samples so i laid the ones I thought coordinated down in front of her and then told her to pick a few. She chose the exact ones I was thinking of. :) that's my girl :)

What a fun way to spend time with your niece! The pillow turned out so nice and pretty, I bet she was very proud of herself! You have her on the hook, now just reel her in! You must be her favorite uncle now! :D

Henry, It's great that you're teaching a child to be a future quilting addict! :lol: I've been teaching my 9 year old granddaughter and she is definitely hooked. Your niece is lovely and her pillow looks great. She must have a good teacher. Please give her a big hug for me and tell her what a good job she did. :D :D :D
