Oh how refreshing it was to have no triangles in this!!
There are none planned for the next two patterns either! It was easy to find three coodinating fabrics for the main fabric here, but I wanted five. It took a long time, probably the most time I've ever spent choosing colors for a quilt. I was going to add a yellow border, but decided I liked it as is--it just didn't need a splash of brightness. Binding will be the green for a nice framing. It's tricky to get the colors to be true. I believe gaigai showed me the floral fabric in a link and I loved it. I'm going to sell it. ;-) |
I love that pattern and you did a great job on the quilt. Now you get to try triangles on your next project. LOL!

It's definitely a soft quilt. I picture it in a baby girl's crib, or on a great-grandma's rocking chair. :-D |
