Allie had her little boy yesterday around 4:30 pm. Mom and baby boy are doing very well. Dear Husband went to see them at hosp today and met the new dad, of course being a guy He didn't get the specifics of height, weight etc. Both adoptive mom and dad were there for delivery. She gave them the quilt and they love it. By now, she should be heading home and Scott and his new parents are probably on the road to their home. DH asked her how she felt and she said that she always felt this child belonged to someone else and she is ready to get on with her life. Unfortunatlely somehow we didn't get the call yesterday and because I was at work today I didn't get to go see them in the hospital or take any pictures of baby and new parents. Thank all of you for your encouragement. I will let her read this thread when she feels up to getting out of the house. If I get any pictures, I will post them.

I am so glad all went well for her. Hard, but great decision on Allie's part.

Oh bless her dear heart...I can only imagine how she feels, but she has acted very maturely and no doubt is giving the baby the best possible future.... :-)

I hope she continues to quilt and maybe makes herself a memory quilt with pictures of the baby growing up.....

Thank you for the update. I'm happy to hear that Allie, baby Scott and his new parents are all doing well.
