Pieced, but not quilted
1 Attachment(s)
I've been out of commission for awhile; last Sept. I fell in my backyard (tripped over a tomato cage), and tore my right rotator cuff in two places. I finally went to the dr. and had surgery on it in Dec. I was in a sling for 6 weeks, couldn't even drive! ( DH and I did many things together that we hadn't done in years! Like grocery shopping, running errands, etc) Anyway, I'm in physical therapy now, and they still won't let me FMQ, but I can piece. So now I've got 6 quilt tops finished, ready to quilt.
This is the first one I did. |

Oh my gosh!!! Your quilts are so very pretty. I can't do anything as pretty as those with both shoulders working! Do hope you are able to mend quickly as get them quilted.
|
Thank you all so much for your kind words. Yes, it was extremely difficult for me, being in a cast for 6 weeks- I was bored out of my mind. I looked at books and magazines, and have about 3 years worth of quilts planned! Lol! I made lists, bought fabric online, made more lists, thought about quilts and fabric constantly. I am truly a quilting addict.
|
Very nice work!!
