The piecing was perfect
 

I don't know the name of this pattern. But, it is was gorgeous. The piecing was perfect. It was so easy to work on. jrboxers sent this quilt to me to quilt on my longarm. We discussed a suitable panto for it because of all of the straight lines. We wanted a classy look and chose one that looked like cane. Its one its way home. So, all she has seen is this picture. What do you think?

Reminds me of a game board my grandfather made. The game was played with 9 checkers. My family called it fig mill, but it has another name that I do recall. My family is of German decent.

The quilt looks spectacular. I would like to make one block and teach my grandson the game.

Beautiful! I really like the graphic quality of two-color quilts. The pattern is called Garden Fence Block. The one in the picture was set on point with sashing between the blocks.
