Oh how lovely ... what a treasure you have created.

Please tell us more of the story behind these pillowcases!!
Are these family heirlooms?
Or ones you had in your linen closet?
Is this your quilt to keep and enjoy?
etc.

This is a beautiful quilt. What a great way for your customer to save her grandmother's pillowcases of embroidery and tatting. You did a wonderful job with this quilt. Thanks for sharing.

sassy granny 09-30-2012 10:04 AM

Out of this world. I've never seen anything like it and it's absolutely gorgeous. I would love to own that one. If I had done that kind of beautiful work there wouldn't be a price large enough to get it off of my hands.
Definetly a show winner, 1st. place.

kuntryquilter 10-01-2012 03:02 AM

Great idea. I plan to do this with the pillow cases that I made for my mother. Hate to use them & wear them out, this is a great way to display them. Thanks

Retired Fire Chief 10-01-2012 04:42 AM

Beautiful! Now I have another project in my bucket list! I am a vintage linen addict and have a pile of embroidered cases that I can transform. Love your choice of sashing and borders, would it be an insult or compliment if I make a similar quilt?

JBeamer 10-01-2012 06:52 AM

Stunning quilt. Just beautiful.
