LOL. I couldn't stand all the Bow Tucks! SO many were SO cute, I just had to make one!! So, I did the cutting and much prep last night, and finished it today. Unfortunately, I have a neuromuscular disorder and I don't think I'm going to be able to CARRY it! It's so heavy!! But, I'll use it as long as I can! :o)
The other is my pin cushion, thread catcher. I actually made it a while ago but thought I'd add the picture since I'm here. :o) Right now, I've just got cardboard in it. Going to go to Lowes and get some tiles to use. haha...... this was my first project, as I am a TOTAL beginner not just at quilting, but also sewing. I put the straps on backwards. lol. |

Those are so cute. I need one of those pin cushion/thread catchers. What is weighing it down? It looks like a "must have" for me. Lol.
|

|

How about using plastic canvas or a piece of plastic for the bottom of your purse? I would think that the tile would add significant weight for you. Nice work, though.

Great job on both!

THANKS everyone for the kind words!! It really is nice to be able to 'show and tell' to people that 'get' what it takes to do things. :o) |

Ah well, I've put my bra straps on backwards already so I guess a pincushion isn't too bad.

Great job on your thread catcher...it certainly does not matter if the straps are on backwards. I bet it works wonderfully! :) |
