Thanks for all of your generous compliments. The quilt consists of 100 10 inch blocks. By, but, but. If I ever make another pineapple block quilt, I would restrict myself to just 2 colors to achieve the great contrast that makes the block sing. Of course, I fell for the line by the shop owner who sold me the pineapple ruler that I could use scraps to make a pineapple quilt. I did use up a lot of scraps though which was nice.

It is a beautiful quilt, and the quilting is really pretty.

Lovely, lovely quilt. Too nice to call "scrappy" and so much work.

I've done one of those (in my younger days!) so I know how much work went into that. I started with dark and light scraps, two piles about three feet high and while it did put a dent in the scraps, there were still quite a few left over!
Just wanted to say, lovely piece of needlecraft.

What a wonderful quilt. I love the scrappy look, and like others, am inspired to try my hand at a scrappy pineapple. My scrap basket is overflowing and I like your quilt better than the strippy quilt I'm doing.
