Pink Binding Star Quilt
 

On my trip back from Denver in May I had a chance to visit Missouri Star Quilt. What an experience! Well, I found all of the fabrics to make this Binding Star Quilt. I LOVE the way it turned out. It will be donated to a charity called Mya's Fund to be auctioned/raffled to raise money for cancer treatments on German Shorthaired Pointers whose owners may have trouble with those bills.

The beautiful quilting was done by Grann of 6.

What a beautiful quilt you made from this fabric. I am sure your quilt will bring in a good amount of money to this charity. I was always amazed at the amount that the quilts I made for a Westie rescue brought in.

What a great charity organization and I hope they raise a lot of money. We often forget that our four legged loved ones also supper from cancer. i have long haired german wire haired pointer that was dumped on my rural property two years ago as a 4 mo. old puppy. i tried to have him rescued but the rescue people couldn't do anything with this hyper, ill behaved animal & considered putting him down. so i adopted hom. he is slowly, very slowly, becoming a wondeful companion. i was thinking today, as i worked in the heat & mess, loving him, playing kickball, what would i do now if i lost him to cancer like i lost his predecessor my beloved wolfdog. bless you for the time & expense you invested in the making of this beautiful, beautiful quilt!

Beautiful quilt and wonderful that you are donating it for a good cause. I was raised with a GSP named Lady. She was a great dog. My Dad took her hunting but she was also the family dog.
