I really like it also. You did a great job.

I tried that block, it was easy. However all of the outside edges throughout the entire block are bias.

We have a group that meets once a month and we did this block at our last meeting. The ladies said they enjoyed bringing their machines and learning a new technique (we don't always). I love helping them learn something new - they aren't always excited about new techniques and run screaming from applique - I am going to have to find something easy to get them hooked! Maybe a wool applique project with just a few pieces - I probably have enough scraps for the few brave enough to try it.

I am going to do a stay-stitch around the outside edges of the two I made because of all the bias edges.
