some one posted the link and I had to try it-was it ever easy and fun.My grand daughter helped pick colors for a quilt in beige/brown/green. this is just a test block but I may go back later and do more in these colors too.

I saw the tute and thought how easy it would be. There is another block made by the same technique and I really like it as well. Beautiful block and great to involve the granddaughter.

I altrnated center colors on mine,,you just have to make two and switch centers |

I made a top, all scrappy from my stash with this block. i posted it a few days ago when i finished the top. it is soooooo easy to make... I cut down the pinwheel to make the 'math' simpler.. and it goes together very easy.. Post the final quilt when finished.. Love to see it.. |

I just love the churndash pattern. Putting the pinwheel in there really makes it pop. Love it.

Love your block. I think this pattern is so unique and easy. Saw the video and I think I need to use up some scraps out of this pattern. How nice to have your granddaughter involved with decisions-makes them feel so important.

I made the other version of this quilt. I used 2 colors I love how it came out. SHe has such awesome patterns.

I have been collecting red and white fabrics for about two years thinking I could do something special, but haven't found a pattern that "hit" me yet. This may be the one!

I made the block but the other one with the corners turned. I had fabric for a 5 yard & I'm using that. Will send picture later. It is fun
