I asked for help earlier in the week about this quilt I'm making for my cousin. I appreciate all the responses. Next Saturday I will take the quilt top to the LA quilter. Still need to get backing, but I'm very please with the results. It is not perfect, but it was made with love.

That is a really cute pinwheel quilt, love the piano key border. As a LA quilter may I make a suggestion-if you have not already done so, sew a running stitch all around the border about 1/4" from the edge of the keys to secure the stitches. This helps to keep the keys from coming unstitched as the LA quilter is working with it. Again, great work and a beautiful gift.

Wonderful! Your cousin is going to love this! I am enamoured by 30's prints right now and just found a pattern to use with my stash I've been collecting.
