Your FMQ is beautiful. I wish I could work up the courage to try it.

Not only are you a talented FM quilter, but a wonderful person, willing to share and help others. Thank you so much for all the information. It gives me some encouragement to keep going. I have followed many of your recommendations, but I'm not there yet. Sometimes I feel like for every step forward I go back a step or two. Recently I did take a FMQ class at a local quilt store as I had been practicing on my own, reading, watching videos for a while and feeling frustrated. I had used a long arm quilt machine 3-4 times and then bought a Bernenia with a stitch regulator, thinking it would be similar!! How disappointed was I!!! The teacher at the quilting store told me to take off the stitch regulator and try it and I did and was amazed at how much better it was, not real good, but better. If I could afford a LA machine I think it would be fun, it is terrifying now. I'm glad to see someone enjoying it. Maybe someday.

Thanks for reminding me about that basting technique! I saw the video a few months ago, and completely forgot about it. Needless to say, the lady's name didn't stick either.
