You are blessed to have done this......Hand quilting hides lots of issues.

Just started sewing in November, only had a class in college 20 years ago which I hated. HATED. This is my 4th quilt since then, I will try to post the others, thank you for your kind words!

Susan, Good for you for having a go. If those old quilt police knock on your door just practice selective hearing. You did set yourself a task but you haven't given up. If you are enjoying it keep going. If you need any help just ask here. There are people with all different levels of experience and they are generous with their help.

Welcome to the board from Australia

Oh, how lovely. It looks like a mosaic floor. Consider yourself pushed to finish this beauty!

The quilt police I hear you all speak of would have a field day with my points and seams. But... I only have three more star things to go and then some easy borders. This will be my first experience with hand quilting too. Despite some pretty glaring flaws it is kind of pretty :) My seven year old will love it anyway:cool: Thanks for looking, I am learning a lot from this board!

Your points look fine to me. The reason the two side rows don't match point to point with the center row is the chocolate sashing. Without that the points would match - at least in my opinion.

I really don't think anyone would fault your efforts. You are brave for trying this pattern for your first quilt. Keep on quilten.
