i like #2 very nice eye catching

I'm gonna be an odd ball on this one too. I like the orange focus. I think it spreads around the color better than the green focus. Good work though. :-)

Thanks so much for the input everyone - it really helps! I've decided on layout # 2 - it seems more orgainzed-looking and balanced to me (although I really did like the play of the orange against the star in the the other layout.) I am splitting my time between it and the next project ( I am sooo bad - I just couldn't wait!) so it'll be a while before I get the top completely done, and longer if these storms don't let up soon!

The delay couldn't possibly be because orange is my least favorite color, right? LOL

You did try to keep us on our toes. Putting layout two first and layout one second. I prefer the green focus one also but both are really attractive.
