I made this one for my 7 year old grand-daughter last year for Christmas to go with her new Easy Bake Oven. She put it on right away and wore it all day. She loved the pockets for her little tiny toy pets that she also received that day. The pattern is from The Apron Lady Designs, called the Little Flirty Skirty.
(Here goes my first attempt at adding pictures!) |
Cute apron Dawn!

Here is a pic of an apron and chef's hat that I made for my DSIL. The patterned fabric is $ sign's. He is a banker.
And the yellow one on the left is for my DDIL - she wanted a lot of lace. The one one the right is for my DD - she wanted terrycloth. |
Gosh! Everyone is so talented and I love ALL the aprons!

Really some cute aprons posted. Fun to see. I think I might have posted these 2 aprons before, I have a short memory. LOL
These were made for my 2 grand kids who live in Iowa and I live in Oregon. They are real pockets not just appliqued on pockets. Enjoy. |

I love aprons and have made several versions. My seven sisters and I made cute aprons from nice dishtowels at our last annual "Hen Party". Stitch on a bit of cute fabric, a little rick-rack, and you have one adorable apron. Here is a slideshow of a few of our cute creations:
http://quiltscapesquilting.blogspot....that-bind.html The other two are some of my favorites; cute and flirty! I was showing the pink one during a guild meeting "Sew & Tell" and I started to blush when I tried to explain that it was my husband's favorite apron... :) dishtowel apron flirty reversible apron made at a retreat husband's favorite... I've made a couple of this pattern called Sunday Dinner Apron. Finding just the right fabric/colors for each person has been lots of fun. Also taught the class at my local quilt shop.
|
All of your aprons are adorable!!
I've been looking for a pattern for an apron/smock. One that has sleeves and ties or snaps in the back. Almost an Asian kimono style. Does anyone know where I could find one? |
They are all just darling.
Hugs, Sharon |
I just love everyone's aprons! They are all so cute!

There are some really cute pictures on here of aprons. A lot of talent! I make and have sold at craft shows and am now on Etsy under the name NannysCrafts ( all one word ) if you care to take a minute to check "my store" out. I'm in the process of getting my holiday aprons up this weekend. Oh, not to buy ( unless you want to, of course ) but to look at them. Thanks.
