I think the point of this quilt is a beautiful use of batiks! And you did just that! Lovely!

Beautiful! You did a great job on your first large quilt. Looks great!

Thankyou everyone for your kind words. I made this quilt about 2 years ago and the longer I have it, the more I appreciate its flaws and warm to my innocent ignorance at that time! I might add though that I have as yet not been able to face the idea of making another "triangle" quilt....could be the stuff nightmares are made of! haha

Your quilt looks fine to me and as my nan would have said, "a blind man on a galloping horse wouldn't see your inaccuracies" . Also to quote one of our members here "finished is better than perfect." Enjoy your quilt.

Looks great to me! We're all our worst critics!! Bias work can be really difficult if you don't know how to control them, so don't be so hard on yourself!! You did a wonderful job! You should be very proud of it!!

I think it looks beautiful! If someone is going to criticize the points they need to go home and not look at it. I love all the colors in it.

I think it looks great! Sometimes ignorance is bliss because we don't have the fear that stops us from taking risks and helps us have more faith in ourselves.

Bravo. I make quilts to please me: patterns, color and design. That is why I would never consider doing a quilt on commission, it would take the fun out of it. You did a fantastic job and if you love it, end of story.

I like quilts that make me happy and cause me to smile. I love your quilt, and I did not notice one error. Is it not funny how we always see the errors in what we do. We never seem to focus on what we do right. I have come to the conclusion that if I can smile and feel a sense of accomplishment when I finish a quilt, it is a good quilt. I finished a 20 year old UFO last week. I put it up 20 years ago after deciding that I would never again quilt on fabric that I detested. The ladies who were finishing their UFO's caused me to feel guilty so I finished it. Know what? It is the ugliest quilt I have ever made; the daughter has grown up and no longer wants a "hippie quilt." She has one now; I told her to take it with her when she goes camping and not to worry if it gets dirty or torn.

Beautiful and gorgeous colors. No one notices the mistakes but you.
