Here are pictures of my sewing room, it gives me a bit more room than I would have in the motorhome. Plus I can hear and sometimes see the wildlife all around me while I sew. ;-)

That has got to be the coolest thing :)
That is so awesome! And talk about my idea of a vacation! :)
Cool! Now all you need to do is cut a hole in the opposite side of the tent, cover it with clear plastic so I can see with these old eyes and I'll move in tomorrow!
There's no stopping a quilter is there! What a terrific set-up...thanks for sharing (cool quilt you have there too.)
Now that is good old-fashioned American ingenuity.
Now that is a cute idea!! Do you get many lady campers stopping by and checking out what you are making?
That's a cheater whole-cloth quilt that I'm hand quilting for a bedspread for my elderly aunt. I'm about 3/4 done with it.

Wow! All the comforts of home...and then some. Great set up.
Where theres a will , theres a way! Looks like a nice retreat.

Where there's a will, a quilter will always find a way!
Can't believe I had three copies.. geez!
Sorry, dupilcate
that is the only way to vacation
Wow! talk about the comforts of home...
Lovely! Close to nature...I bet that that inspires creativity.
A neat idea.
Great idea!
Now I don't feel so bad about taking my Featherweight on vacation. |
LOL Had to share this one with DH. I have been thinking about the Argosy trailer that we have. It needs re-done. DH wants to sell-maybe it needs to be a mobile studio.
Love your outdoor theme! |
As we say here ... that's wicked cool!
Makes camping look fun! |
That is just too fun looking!
Awesome!!!!!! Im gonna keep an eye out for a 'tent' for our camper!!! Love the idea!!
I wouldn't dare do that in Alabama. The humidity is so bad it
would ruin every thing but glad you can do that. |
Happy Camping! That is just awesome!
I think I have just met the most diehard quilter ever !!! More power to you
Now THAT looks like fun!!! Thanks for giving us a peek into your "portable sewing room!"
Way to go; fresh air, natural light, good company; you're good to go!

That's unique! (We just had three deer outside the window.) I love listening to the birds and would probably pay more attention to them than my sewing. Thanks for sharing!
Wow! You don't mess around! You've got the perfect setup
that is really neet! Love the idea, wouldn't mind doing something like that in my own backyard
For some reason it reminds me of old movies that had rich people out on safari in Africa and they took all their comforts of home with them. I always wanted to do that. The only problem I would have is the heat.
I think it is a great idea. I used to get so bored when we went camping. You can only read so many books and clean the place so much. I used to have a friend who's in-laws had a cabin up in the woods. It was quite far in, but did have electricity. Her MIL used to go up there and spend a week at a time, just sewing and doing whatever she wanted. It was a big place and she had it decorated so cute and homey. I was so jealous. |
You're a genius!!! Very smart....great idea.
How neat..what a great idea!!
