Cool quilt.

I want to make a star wall hanging to put on my front door for the patriotic holidays. A simple appliqued star in red on white fabric with a blue border and some funky red, white and blue for the binding. It will have to wait a while, but I hope to have it done for next July.

Thank you all. I don't know how I had forgotten the support & love when I post on QB. Guess only you'all know the work involved in making quilts and the love that goes into them. I am giving myself a neck up-Check up this morning ... and determined to see the "positives" of every aspect of my life daily. I'm thinking I'll try some more Modern quilts for a while.

It's a good thing that I have plenty of time to sit and circle.. You might not believe it, but I use to be real whiz kid! Those were the day, my friend...

Yes, it turned out great in red, white and blue. I did one once in a scrappy way (all different 4" pieces) and while okay, wasn't nice as this one--for sure. I really like it!
