This is going to be an ongoing topic where I will post my progress on the postage stamp quilt.
Please leave comments and encouragements hehe I think I am going to need all I can get!
I will update the title with the page of the newest picture.

I think its going to take me awhile to get everything cut out. I am going a 1 1/2 inch (unfinished) square each a different fabric. My original goal was to only do 4500 and add some borders to make it bigger.
With the generosity of member here I think I may meet or surpass that.

Here are a few pics of the scraps that have poured in and me cutting them.

I want to again thank everyone who has sent scraps or is sending scraps thank you!!!

(edited to change a picture I didnt relize I had photographed an envelope, dont want to give anyone someones address by mistake  sorry)

Me cutting, I think I will be doing this for a long time :P

Looks like a fun, but time consuming project!

Are you only cutting one layer of fabric at a time with the template?
It would go much faster if you stacked your fabrics 4-6 thick and cut a small strip and then cut down. It is hard to get an accurate cut going around a tiny template.
Just a thought.
You do have a lot of work to do!!!

Ohh no I am cutting as many as I can together and still stay accurate. I try and find like sizes and then that way there is not a lot of fabric waste.

It is going to be a big job I need to go get one of those 28mm rotary cutters I think them better for smaller work. My last one broke.

That's quite a project. Only 4500, you consider that to be a small number? LOL

Will this be hand pieced? I'll be watching your progress.
