Postage stamp Quilt

It is no secret that my DH gets more sewing done than I do. Here is where his obsessive compulsive disorder kicks in! I do not have the patience to do this. But, didn't it turn out great? I'm proud of his accomplishments. I'm wondering how I'm going to quilt this one. Maybe with a large popcorn pantograph? What do you think?

Oh my gosh. The picture makes some of the blocks look wonky. But, they aren't. they are almost perfect match-ups.

Oh Lordy, I wouldn't have the patience for that either. Just thinking about matching all those seams makes my head swirl.

Whoa! What a wonderful job! I do see a curvy type quilting pattern, so the popcorn would be great. What size squares did he use?

lfstamper 10-11-2013 07:03 AM

Wow really near! What size is this?

MaryMo 10-11-2013 07:11 AM

He must have the patience of Job to cut and sew all those. Fabulous!

That is beautiful, you truly have a talented husband. it would take me for ever to do that and I don't think I would ever try. I love scrap quilts they are my favorite. Please let us see it after you have quilted it. Josie

Holy...!! That is just awesome! How about a simple panto pattern, maybe clam shells?

Tartan 10-11-2013 08:05 AM

Wow, that's a lot of squares! I think a fairly open panto like the popcorn is the way to go. There are a lot of seams and anything too intricate is going to be difficult.

That is an amazing quilt. Love it!
