Wow, Amazing quilt, I always admire these kind of quilts but I do not think I would have the patience to do one myself!

I've wondered what to do with my small scraps, but not sure I could ever get them to line up and keep the colors straight. Beautiful!

What patience you must have! Were you crazy enough to hand piece this too? lol

LOL!! I deserved that one...LOL!! This is pieced by machine, and machine quilted, too. As you can imagine, there's lots of seams to go thru, and is this thing ever heavy!! I used over two 1200-yard spools of thread for the entire project.

And, for the person who commented earlier about doing this pattern in strips --- this wasn't made that way. It is individual squares. I like the freedom of changing my mind about what I want to add next.

I really appreciate everyone's comments. They make me want to make more of these!!

Wow! How impressive!!!! I was really impressed when I saw the pics but I am even more impressed that you individually pieced these squares insteading of strip piecing them. You are truly one patient talented quilter!
