I didn't really understand how to do a stack 'n whack but really love the look, so I thought I'd just try to watch a tutorial and try it. This is what I came up with. The border print was the original fabric for the snw blocks. This was a learning process, so don't look too close. They are OK for the galloping horse test.

I think it looks great. I've bought a fabric to try the 4 patch posey. Just waiting for the right moment of "inspiration" to hit me before I make the first cut. haha

It turned out very nicely. Most quilts of this type are done with dark or strong contrast fabrics. Nice to see one in more pastel colors! Certainly expands the possibilities. Also like your backing. I also piece mine...usually because I don't have quite enough fabric or leftover blocks from the front. Beautiful!
