What an interesting idea. Just as jdiane318 said, it is a great idea for men. Wonderful

Very nice...prayers out to your pastor.
Now you have me curious as to what the block is called, and its significance as explained in the book. Care to share? Please? and Thanks!
What a nice thing to do!
What an appropriate block and keepsake. I hope he knows there are more prayers being said than knots. I do hope he is recovering well.
very nice.

what a unique idea, may just check the library for the book.

We do prayer quilts in our church. Lap size or a little larger in any pattern the quilter wishes. It is on the altar rail during the morning service when needed, then moved to a corner of the community room afterwards. The congregation prays corporately for the person, then individually as each congregation member who wishes to ties a knot or two. Recipients have found the blanket of prayers very powerful.
I was just on the Prayers and Squares website. there is a pattern for making a large cross in the backing. That has definite possibilities. gzulivz, your Prayer Square is lovely. Your pastor will feel the love that has gone into it. I just realized what your name says. |
