Primitive Gardens
 

I finished my block of the month "Primitive Gardens" from Primitive Gatherings and I thought I would share it with my quilting friends. There is little room for quilting with the extensive applique but Hubby put the finishing touches on it and I am very pleased with it. I am exceptionally proud I kept up with the bom and didn't get behind. Some of the blocks were very large and it seemed like I would never get them finished but I did and I am glad I kept at it. I look forward to your comments.

I did too. That is way I wanted to do it so. The rocks are in my Dad's memory and the cardinal is for my mom. My Dad picked stones right up to the day that he died. They have stone pickers now. I wished he could of seen one.

I have this pattern but haven't attempted it. Yours is stunning! And for the two of you to work together to a grand finish, just makes it that much more special. It is one of those quilts that you can look at forever, and still find new things to see. Great job!!!
