The wedding quilt was a pattern I made up from obviously traditional elements, playing on my QuiltPro. When I saw the "Ladies with Hats" design in an old book, I had to play with that too. One of the joys of researching patterns and recombining things is the combination of things that are both fresh and traditional.

Congratulations. Quilts are great. Plain is good. I'll bet if you ask your DGS he will say the same thing. Brenda
