Procrastination!
 

I started this quilt 2 years ago. I bought fabric that represented 30's fabrics from Connecting Threads.The pattern was from Fons and Porter. I am usually a bright colours person so when it was pieced I wasn't pleased with it . Set it aside then last Sept. did all the applique.So this month I home machine quilted it 90 X 96 inches. ITS Finished ! I do like it better now.

Thank you.Its from Fons and Porter mag. May /June 2013 Its called Aunt Gracies Garden and uses the 54-40 or fight blocks and Shoo Fly blocks. I used the Tri-Recs Tool rather than the templates

It's pretty and looks really homey and comfy. Your applique adds visual interest to the border as does the depth of dark blue. There have been quilt tops I abandoned for a time because I didn't like them as much as I wanted to, but once the quilting and binding were done, it suddenly sang!
