The Proud Owner of 6 New Puppies!

It's done! Thank you all for your guidance, support and occasionally talking me from the edge of the cliff. The interesting part of making this quilt was not that the actual sewing was difficult, the difficult part was in planning, plotting, finding the fabrics and testing the stitches. Once that was done, it went together relatively quick. And, yes, I took copious notes.

Thank you Maggie Sue! My son and DIL have had a few miscarriages but we're hopeful with this one! I"ll wait a bit but I'm really excited to give it to them.

Excellent choice with the quilting. Funny how we struggles sometimes and a better choice comes along. Happy you finished it. Best wishes for your family.

Cute quilt... but I must admit I was disappointed when I opened the thread and there were no real puppies!

Libster 06-23-2019 06:22 AM

sash 06-23-2019 07:57 AM

I so love those little puppies. Seems like there are a lot of cute "cat" quilts, but, not many cute doggie ones and I love yours. Love those hearts too.

Jordan 06-23-2019 09:56 AM

That is such a cute doggie quilt. You did a fabulous job on it. Hoping for the best for your Son and DIL.

People who do not make quilts do not realise all "the behind the scenes" work that goes into making one. As you said the difficult part was not the sewing but all the "preparation".

A truly cute finish.

MissSongbird 06-25-2019 04:12 AM

Aww that's so cute! You did a great job!

quilterpurpledog 06-25-2019 04:55 AM
