I used the scraps from the bug quilt I made for this puff quilt. I will say I liked the looks of it but will never tackle the job of making another one. LOL

jetnica 03-07-2010 07:32 PM

it so pretty!!!!

MaryStoaks 03-07-2010 07:44 PM

That quilt looks so soft and cushy. I'll bet it's super warm too. You chose very nice colors, it looks like spring time. Good job.

littlehud 03-07-2010 07:59 PM

That is so cute. I just love the way they look. Warm and cuddly. Great job.

Chasing Hawk 03-07-2010 08:28 PM

Wow, nice work. Your floor looks like it's covered with those snowball cupcakes.

berbey ,
nice fun quilt. What did you stuff it with?

A nice cuddling blanket or toss on the floor to watch a movie

beachlady 03-08-2010 05:18 AM

It is so cute and cuddly looking. Love all the bright colors with the white - it is beautiful! Are they all sewn by hand?

Justquilting 03-08-2010 05:25 AM

That is soo pretty!!
I just want to jump in the middle of it! ;)
Reminds me of the tent with all the balls in it.

jewelps 03-08-2010 05:40 AM

I used scrap batting. My aunt has a long arm so she kept scraps for me for this quilt.

butterjoy 03-08-2010 09:45 AM

I have never seen this kind of quilt. The colors are wonderful. I know it has to be so soft to lay on. Very nice!

weezie 03-08-2010 12:06 PM

Very cute, but I can see 'twas a lot of work. Is it puffy on both top and bottom or is it flat on the back side? (You can see I know nothing about puff quilts.)

ilovequilts 03-08-2010 12:07 PM

My mom made me a puffy quilt when I was younger and it was on my bed for years and years! This quilt is sure to get lots of love!

*QuilterWannabee* 03-08-2010 12:08 PM

Last one, really? You did a wonderful job on that. Sooo puffy, sooo cute!

Teehee! I just want to squish it!! ahh!

I'd love to learn that- does anyone have good directions on it? Are they really hard to make (ie: have to be precise)?

Love it! Great job!

chuckles 03-08-2010 12:32 PM

That is soooo cute looking...snuggly. I like that trip around looking pattern.
I made on of those in HS in the 70's too for art class. Mine was to celebrate the bicentennial. RW & Blue and on the White squares I Artexed Flower Power Flowers. I think I ended up Aceing that class. I lost that quilt along the way over the last 30 some years since then...dang.

charismah 03-08-2010 12:34 PM

That is adorable! Did you stuff each of those?

chuckles 03-08-2010 12:34 PM

It looks like a bunch of pool balls all organized on a pool table...LOL

Boston1954 03-08-2010 12:53 PM

I think the pattern is on www.quilterscache.com There are 2 different version of a puff quilt. One is more puffy than the other. Mine is the puffier one.

knlsmith 03-08-2010 02:07 PM

OMG TOOOOO CUUUUUTTTTEEE!!

can we see a pic of a corner with the back pulled over the top (front) a little bit?

Also, I seem to remember seeing a tutorial for this somewhere. can you help me out? or did you buy a pattern?

I was going to make one, but lost my info on it.

knlsmith 03-08-2010 02:08 PM
