Purple and gray nursery for Brooklynn Joy
 

My sister is going to be a first time grandma next month. My niece picked purple and gray for the nursery colors. My sister made curtains out of the purple, gray, and white fabric that I also incorporated into the quilt.

Isn't it funny that new moms are not picking pink for nursery colors? When did pink go out of favor? My daughter picked navy, coral and gold for her daughter's room. She has three close friends who have daughters, and none of them picked pink either.

I like the shades of purple and gray fabrics you used. Can you please tell me what size HST's you used to piece the chevron portion? Thank you!

I used 5" squares, then squared them up to 4-1/2".
