purple warm wishes
 

I made a charity quilt two weeks ago and liked it enough that I sort of copied the idea for a quilt for me, except this one is in purple. (The charity quilt was made from a grab bag from my guild, and its focus fabric was a deep wine. I was committed to donating that quilt....as that was the entire purpose of the grab bag...to use up the fabric we have on hand since we are out of storage space.)

Anyway, I just finished the top of this Warm Wishes and wanted to share it. Thanks for looking. I do like it, but I think I won't do two quilts of the same pattern in a row again. Got a bit boring. :) I look forward to starting something different.

Ooh, like that in purple too! Your kitty looks like he (?) took over your chair as soon as you got up for the camera. I know what you mean about not wanting to do the same pattern twice in a row.

Very pretty. I too am doing a second quilt with same pattern, different colors, same though. I won't do that again. I am slow going on this one. There is a lot of time and work on these biscuit quilts.

very pretty--hear what you say about same pattern getting boring when done twice in a row--I ran into that with same fabrics for 3 memory quilts! Thank goodness I had to change up the patterns a bit due to fabric limits.

Looks good. The purple is very striking. It does get boring working on the two quilts of the same pattern. But now it's done and onward!

Actually, Hot Rod claims the back of the chair, even when I am siting in it. He is a true quilting companion. :) I got out of the chair to take the picture and he just sort of spread out.

I keep forgetting about the warm wishes patterns. I like purple, one of my favorites.

I love the Warm Wishes pattern and it is one of the few that I have made more than once. Not my norm either. You did a great job, but I can relate to the boredom too. Glad you were able to push through and make one for yourself too.

Lovely quilt and so is sweet kitty on your chair. My sweet cat used to sit on mine too, would get irritated when I moved her.

Great quilt. The Warm Wishes quilt is a great one, but like you, I don't like making the same quilt too many times in a row. I love your quilt advisor. Reminds me of one of the first cats we owned.
