That is just beautiful. I haven't seen one like that before. Great job.
Great purse, did you have a pattern?
I will look & see if I can find the pattern, it was sometime ago I made this.......Michele
Neat! Love the shape and the fabrics.
Oh, that is cute.
Cute!
CUTE WHAT IS IT CALL.
Really cute.....I smile when I see these tote bags & purses on here..Would never want to start making them (My daughter changes shoes as fast she does purses, that is all I would get done LOL
Sooooo cute love the fabrics....I have not talked my self into doing a purse yet...you are way ahead of me!
I LOVE the curtain tie back used for handles! I always look at them in stores, I think they are pretty and shiny and smooth and do NOT go with my mission style more simplified decorating theme. Thanks for the great idea!!
Beautiful :!:
Cute bag. I'm referred to as the bag lady. I love to make bags.
That is really cute! Is is your own design? 8-)
I love your purse! I didn't realise that the handles are curtain ties. Where did you get your pattern?
Phyllis |
Very nice!!!
I just looked again...is that what they call the sweet sixteen bag?
There is a free pattern on line for that bag if that is what yours is..but I do not know how to put a link in here but you can go to popularpatchwork.com to find it |

http://www.thisbe.org/cheryl/Patterns.html Scroll down to "Bag" and click on Sweet sixteen. |
Wow have to say I really like your bag. Hope you can find your pattern or notes.
Thanks for sharing. Sandra |
Thanks for the link, went straight through 1st time. I also have this pattern using quilt as you go technique.
Very cute - reminds me of the Schlep bag too :)
I'm thinking it would make great teacher gifts this year! |
Very cute love the frog closure.
I have been wondering what you used for batting and interfacing> That often is the hardest thing about making a purse..want it firm but not stiff nor too sloppy..yours looks just right and what size are the blocks?
I love it! Did you have a pattern? I am just into making purses. After quilting for 10 years, I wanted to try something a little different. Plan to make a purse for the "girls" in the family for Christmas.
Very nice. Love the pattern. Love the colors.
That pattern is very close to the one I made. I am still looking for my pattern, let you know if I find it.......Michele
The batting for this bag was warm & natural, no interfacing was used.......Michele
Oh, that purse is sooooooooooo adorable. Love it.
My DD would love this purse. She collects purses and currently has (at age 11) 150+. Mostly I just let her pick them up at garage sales for 25 or 50 cents but this one is so cute!!!
Love it!
