For the measurements, my Excel sheet might help too. There are 2 blocks, one 6x8, one 8x8. If you assume each square is 1", you can make your own and they'll match (though choose a 6x8 or 8x8, not both :D)

No, I didn't use those measurements. Hers is really nice and it was one of the ones I used as inspiration.

This looks really good.............I plan to make my grandson (almost5) one for Christmas this year. He likes doing puzzles and I thought this would be a good design for him..................he informed me a couple weeks ago that the last one I made for him (it was a carry around) was too small for him and he needed me to make him a bigger one..........he also wants to help with the machine quilting on it (I have a longarm), but how can I make it for Christmas and give it to him if he helps......hmmm, I guess that means he will be getting two from me!!
