Don't pin, I don't want to slow down to take the pins out.

I have arthritis in my hands so sometimes I have to pin. Some days are better than others.

I pin sometimes, but most of the time I don't. If there are seams to match up, I pin. If not I don't.

If the strips are the same length and need to match at the end, I pin the ends together and finger-pin along the way.

I learned sewing as a garment seamstress, so I really believe in pinning and basting!!! Without these tricks, I don't produce nearly the same quality product!

Good information to have. I'm doing a easy strip quilt and was wondering why things were getting wavy... Now I know how to avoid that. Thank you!
